(no surprise there), it seems that everyone has decided to jump out of the closet and show Sarah Palin who they are. (Ha! Can Lindsay please hit on Governor P? Please??) And, OMFG, there was even a blind item this week about a famous TV housewife who is getting separated from her real-life husband (her beard?) and is rumored to be coming out SOON!

Clay Aiken appears on the cover of the latest People magazine holding his infant son, Parker Foster Aiken, with the headline: “Yes, I’m Gay.”
The 29-year-old former “American Idol” runner-up, multiplatinum recording artist and Broadway star credits his son, conceived by in-vitro fertilization with friend and producer Jaymes Foster, with making him realize that he could no longer hide his homosexuality from the world.

Scores of Hollywood, TV and music stars have come out as gay without any evidence that even one of them has suffered career-wise.
A prominent example of America’s "so what" attitude is Neil Patrick Harris, who despite acknowledging his homosexuality continues to be popular playing the womanizing Barney on
How I Met Your Mother
. Kudos to the CBS comedy for not toning down the character’s skirt-chasing since Harris came out. If anything, Barney is more lecherous than ever.

runner up, has confirmed in an interview for the upcoming issue of People magazine, that he is indeed Gay. His sexual orientation has been speculated by the public since his appearance on American Idol and now he has finally come out of the closet and is letting the world know the truth.
In 2006, Clay was questioned about his sexuality by Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America. At that time he told Diane that she was really rude to grill him about his sexuality. He also dodged the question in a previous interview with People magazine saying that readers “are going to believe what they want.”

graces the cover of the latest People magazine revealing the shocking truth that he is gay…and here you thought he was already out! The
American Idoler
who went onto Broadway fame in
”Spamalot”
explains that he could not raise his son Parker while living a lie. Since first hitting the spotlight on AI in back in 2003, Aiken has been known to duck questions about his sexuality. I know, it’s not exactly a stop-the-presses moment, but I thought I’d blog about it anyway.
