Friday, September 28th, 2007

A barbershop quartet with beehives and heels, The Kinsey Sicks have been satirizing politics and personalities in song for more than a decade. The group, which scored an off-Broadway hit with the show “Dragapella!” will be performing its “Condoleezapalooza” show at tomorrow night’s Beaux Arts Ball. TKS is made up of musically inclined social activists and professionals who have adopted over-the-top female personas. Thursday, September 27th, 2007

Readers who want to offer their two cents about online news have a new way to vent. TMZ.com, the fast-growing entertainment blog that is co-owned by AOL, has started letting readers post audible comments about items on its Web site for playback by other people at the site. That’s a next-generation leap from the written comments many sites have added. The No. 1 most-visited entertainment site, which just launched a syndicated TV show, also is planning to let readers post videotaped comments about its snarky celebrity sightings and other news; there is no timetable for that addition.

Emmys: The Last Great Reason to Avoid Television Until May

Tuesday, September 18th, 2007
