April 25, 2007 - So Rosie O’Donnell is ditching “The View,” and—poof!—suddenly Sanjaya, Alec Baldwin and the rest suddenly disappear from sight. The cable outlets went so far as to label it “Breaking News”—and O’Donnell immediately mocked them for it. In fact, that kind of media hyperventilating probably contributed to her quick exit. The outspoken talk-show host always said she’d stay with the show only for a year and take her temperature again then. “People are like, ‘You have a one-year deal. Why?’”
