‘Idol’ finalists’ ambition: Meld talent, personality
WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – As cameras rapidly flashed nearby, rockers Chris Sligh and Gina Glocksen gave each other a high five on a crowded, noisy red carpet.
“It is a huge, huge thrill,” Sligh said. “Who knew a chubby guy from South Carolina could go this far?”
Sligh and Glocksen talked above the commotion of reporters and photographers last week on a large balcony at the Pacific Design Center. Just two hours earlier, they and 10 other new celebrities learned they were finalists on “American Idol.”
